I decided to book a direct flight to Australia because I can’t stand stopovers.
When I arrived at the airport, I immediately went to check in. I only had hand
luggage, so I didn’t need to check in any baggage. I gave my ticket and passport
to the check-in clerk and I asked for a seat by the window. Fortunately, there were
some left. I don’t like aisle seats because you miss the view. After that, she gave
me my boarding pass and told me to go to gate 13. My flight was departing in
half an hour. However, ten minutes later, an announcement was made that there
was going to be a three-hour delay! When I finally got on the plane, the flight
attendant told us to fasten our seat belts. After a few minutes the plane took off.
I was very excited but also quite exhausted. I fell asleep immediately and woke up
