I’m really into making jewellery. I often go down
to the beach and look for materials I can use,
like shells, unusual stones, or my favourite
material, sea glass. That’s old pieces of glass
that have been in the sea for years so they’re
nice and smooth. I always use natural materials,
so everything I make is completely di ferent—I
love using my imagination to create the designs.

For me, making jewellery is not only fun, it’s
very relaxing too! I like making necklaces and
bracelets, but I enjoy making earrings most
of all. My aunt makes jewellery herself too.
She uses gold and silver. I want to learn how
to do that too, but it needs special skills and
equipment. Hopefully, she’ll teach me one day! Lizzie, age 15
