1 Oliver: Hi, Harry! How about meeting at Pizza
Palace later?
Harry: Thanks, but I’ve had a bad day. I just need
some rest!
Oliver: Why? What’s wrong?
Harry: Well, the computer game Space World 5
came out yesterday, so this afternoon I
decided to go and buy it. On my way to the
computer shop, I stopped at our favourite
café for a hot chocolate.
Oliver: Oh, I love their hot chocolate!
Harry: Me too. How delicious! Anyway, listen!
Oliver: I’m all ears!
Harry: When I arrived at the computer shop,
guess what! I realised that I didn’t have my
backpack with me. It was at the café!
I went back to get it but while I was heading
back to the café, I had an accident. I was
riding my e-scooter when I lost control and
crashed into a tree.
Oliver: Ouch! That sounds painful!
Harry: Luckily, it wasn’t anything serious. I just
hurt my arm and cut my inger. I’m OK now.
Oliver: Poor you! What did you do after that? Did
you go home?
Harry: Actually, I went to the computer shop! But,
when I arrived, it was closed!
Oliver: No way! Are you pulling my leg?
Harry: No, it all really happened! But never mind—
I’ll try again another day!
