While I was on the platform waiting for the underground this morning,
my wallet fell out of my pocket. I called the lost property o ice, and they
told me to call back in a few hours. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Last summer, I was on a bus to the airport when I realised my backpack was still at the
bus stop! Suddenly, my phone rang. I answered and a man told me he had it! You see,
my phone number was on the luggage label, so he was able to call me. Thankfully, he
found it and called me, because my passport was inside my backpack! I was so relieved!
And listen to this! Not only were we on the same plane, but we were sitting next to
each other too! So, we had a co fee together and chatted for some time. In the end we
became very good friends!

Last weekend, I was leaving the park after having lunch there when I noticed a woman
running after me. When she got closer, I saw that she was holding my purse! It fell
out of my bag while I was picking the bag up to leave. I was shocked when I realised.
Although there wasn’t any cash in it, my driving licence and credit card were in there.
I thanked her and we spent some time talking. She was from Argentina, and was in the
country to work. We’ve been friends ever since!

A couple of months ago, I left my brand new tablet on the seat next to me on the train.
The case was the same colour as the seat, you see, so I didn’t notice that I left it behind
until I got o f the train! I went to the lost property
