I was looking for the post office, I was in a 1
They told me ‘It isn’t very far, you don’t have to worry.

I got off the bus and waited at the traffic lights
I crossed the street and then I 3 right

I went straight ahead, and then I couldn’t find my way
I got 4 in my town at midday!

Two hours later, I posted my 5
But my awful day didn’t get any better
I took the wrong bus back home
And then I realised I didn’t have my 6 !

When I finally found my way home through the park
I 7 the lift upstairs, but everything went dark
I shouted and shouted ‘Get me out of here soon!’
But I was 8 in the lift all afternoon!

What a day, what a day!
I’m so glad it’s over
I’m going to bed
What will it be like tomorrow?
