             Reflexive pronouns                                    •  The Imperative changes to full infinitive or not +

             We use reflexive pronouns:
             •  as objects of verbs when the subject and the
                object of the verb are the same.
                  I bought myself an expensive pair of shoes.
             •  after certain verbs with prepositions (talk about/
                to, take care of, say to, etc.).
                  He never talks about himself.
              Note:
              •  We use by + reflexive pronoun to show that
                someone does something alone, without any
                help from anyone else.
                  I always pack my suitcases by myself.

             We use should:
             •  to ask for and give advice.
                 What should I do?
                 You shouldn’t work so hard.
             •  to express an opinion.
                 I think the children should eat more fruit.
             •  to make a suggestion.
                 We should go to the cinema. There’s a nice film on.


             Reported Speech (Commands and
             Requests)

             •  We commonly use tell or order when we report
               commands and ask when we report requests.
