Stative Verbs
                 The following verbs are not usually used in the                   TIME EXPRESSIONS
                 Present Progressive. They are called stative verbs.   yesterday / yesterday morning, etc.
                                                                       last night/week/weekend/month/year
                  •  see, hear, smell, taste, feel etc.                last Wednesday/Friday, etc.
                  •  like, love, hate, want, need, etc.                last summer/winter, etc.
                  •  think, understand, know, agree, promise, hope, etc.  two days / a week / three months /  ive years ago
                  •  be, have, cost, etc.                              in + year

                  Some stative verbs can be used in progressive           The Past Simple of the verb can is could.
                  tenses, but with a di ferent meaning.                   The Past Simple of the verb be is was/were.

                  think of/about
